About Snowy

Snowy takes his name from the tiny white snowflake flowers that cascade in hanging trails between May-October. When you plant little Snowy out, each 'plug' plant will be dotted with just a few flowers but after a few weeks after planting, each stem will be magically transformed into flower covered trails that are perfect for brightening up a windowsill, hanging trough or pot.

Availability & Details

Snowy will be available next Spring 2018.

Current height including pot: 10-20cm

Likes

Snowy will thrive in a spot with morning sun and afternoon shade but will also settle for anything from full sun to partial shade.

Dislikes

Snowy likes his soil to be kept moist but well drained so don't allow it to dry out and make sure you use a good drainage material if planting in a container. Here's a guide to how to best plant up your outdoor plants.

Looking after this plant

Water regularly and don't allow the soil to dry out. To help promote growth, apply a liquid fertiliser monthly throughout the flowering period.

Snowy is known as a 'self-cleaning' plant so won't require dead-heading as he takes care of this himself!

Planting this plant

We recommend planting 2 'plug' plants in a 20cm pot or 4 'plug' plants in a small trough.

Living with pets and children

Snowy is non-toxic.
